Countrywide polio drive continues on day 2

ISLAMABAD: Countrywide polio drive continues for the second day as thousands of children have been vaccinated with drops, while infants above 6 months have received vitamin A shots, Geo News reports Tuesday. The three-day anti-polio campaign in the Federal Capital the Directorate of Health Services of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is administering polio and vitamin drops in the Federal Capital in the collaboration with WHO UNICEF. For three-day’’s NID House to House Polio Campaign, launched on November 16 the Directorate of Health Service constituted 350 teams to vaccinate the children, covering the capital territory, said a press release.
