People’s Sexiest Man Alive is Johnny Depp

Hugh Jackman step aside for there is a new pirate in town. People magazine has named Johnny Depp as the sexiest man alive for 2009.

It’s the second time the magazine has given the honour to Depp, who was first given the title in 2003, a few months after Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl came out. In the following years, the title was awarded to Jude Law, Matthew McConaughey, George Clooney, Matt Damon and Jackman.

The 46-year-old actor has finally regained his crown with only two other men having accomplished the same feat: George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue also features 109 other almost as sexy men, including Ryan Reynolds and Robert Pattinson.
