War on terror can win with help of citizens: CCPO

LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Pervez Rathore said policing is a sacred duty through which we can achieve Allah Almighty’s blessings by providing justice to the people. He said if police officials work hard and make service to the masses as their motto, there is no reason that police force could not achieve respect, honour and dignity in the society. However, CCPO regretted that there are few misguided police officials who are devoid of higher values like justice, decency and trust and these black sheep are source of notoriety for the department, against whom strict action would be taken.
